Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending Sept. 25. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Sept. 21: An officer was dispatched to Jefferson Lab to file a report of 380 feet of type L copper piping that was stolen. A bicycle and lock were reported stolen from University Place.

Sept. 22: Officers were dispatched to Holyoke Center on a report of an individual who had just been assaulted causing injury to their wrist. Officers located the assaulting individual and placed him under arrest for assault and battery. Four pairs of hockey gloves, three pairs of shoulder pads, and six pairs of elbow pads were reported stolen from Bright Hockey Center. At 12:30 p.m., officers met with an undergraduate student at Kirkland House regarding an assault that had occurred at 4 a.m. that morning. The reporting individual stated that they had had an encounter with a known individual that escalated when the individual grabbed the reporting individual in a manner that had made it difficult to breath. At approximately 2 p.m., the assaulting individual was placed under arrest for assault and battery. A bicycle was reported stolen from Sever Hall.

Sept. 23: Two wallets were reported stolen from the Sailing Center. A cell phone was reported stolen from Phillips Brooks House. A white, mini iPod was reported stolen from 168 Longwood Ave. Harassing phone calls were reported received from Stoughton Hall North.

Sept. 24: Vandalism to the window of a motor vehicle was reported at 260 Longwood Ave. Two purses were reported stolen from Lowell House. A bicycle was reported stolen from Stoughton Hall North.

Sept. 25: A bicycle was reported stolen from Gund Hall. A laptop was reported stolen from Harvard Institutes of Medicine. A backpack with contents valued at $1,245 was reported stolen from 23 Everett St. An officer observed individuals acting suspiciously in the area of 65-67 Winthop St. After observing two of the individuals smoking marijuana, the officer stopped the individuals and conducted a field interview. A search of the individuals (conducted for officer safety) yielded a knife and marijuana. The individuals were run for warrants (two with negative results and one with positive results). The individual with positive results was then placed under arrest for warrant service and the other two were informed that complaints would be sought against them.
