HUL programs make move to Mt. Auburn St.

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) administration will be relocating from Byerly Hall to the third floor of Holyoke Center in September. As a result, several financial operations within the Office of the Controller in Holyoke Center will be moving to 1033 Massachusetts Ave., second floor, effective May 30.

The affected departments include University Procurement and Disbursement Services (Accounts Payable, Payroll, Travel and Expense Reimbursements, and Strategic Procurement) and University Financial Services (Central Accounts Receivable, University Financial Aid Liaison Office, and Student Loan Office).

On May 26, the following offices will be closing at noon to prepare for the move: Central Accounts Receivable, University Financial Aid Liaison, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense Reimbursement, and Strategic Procurement. The Student Loan Office, meanwhile, will close at 3 p.m. Following the Memorial Day holiday weekend (May 30), Accounts Payable, Payroll, Travel and Expense Reimbursement, and Strategic Procurement offices will reopen for business at 9 a.m., while the Central Accounts Receivable, University Financial Aid Liaison Office, and the Student Loan Office will reopen at noon.

Accounts Payable and Payroll customer service representatives will be located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave. and available for inquiries either at that location or by telephone and e-mail. All contact information remains the same.

Effective May 30 the new mailing address for the above-mentioned offices will be 1033 Massachusetts Ave., second floor, Cambridge, MA 02138. University Mail will deliver to this location. However, in an effort to make this transition as seamless as possible for the Harvard community, drop slots for Accounts Payable, Payroll, Travel and Expense Reimbursements, Student Loan Office, and Central Accounts Receivable has been arranged at the Holyoke Center Mailroom, room 744. Deliveries from Holyoke Center to the new address are scheduled every four hours (8 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday).

The preferred delivery method for all checks continues to be either U.S. mail or University mail. In those infrequent cases where special handling, emergency, and off-cycle payroll checks require pickup, they will be available at the Cash Receipts and Disbursements window located at the University Financial Services Center on the ninth floor of Holyoke Center between the hours of noon and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
