Faculty council meeting Sept. 21

At its first meeting of the year on Sept. 21, the Faculty Council discussed the recommendations of the Task Forces on Women Faculty and on Women in Science and Engineering.

The council also discussed the possible establishment of a Graduate Policy Committee (GPC) for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

The council next meets on Oct. 5. The preliminary deadline for the Oct. 25 Faculty Meeting is Oct. 10, at 9 a.m.
