Australian Harvard Club announces new fellowship

1 min read

The Harvard Club of Australia (HCA) has announced a new award for senior Harvard researchers who may be planning collaborative work with Australian research organizations. Known as the Australia-Harvard Fellowship, this award aims to support learned exchange between the University and Australia.

For a two-year trial period, the HCA Foundation will fund eligible Australian institutions for one award each year of up to $40,000 in Australian dollars (approximately $30,000 in U.S. dollars). The money will cover visits to Australia by senior Harvard researchers for up to three months. During this trial, it will operate in one direction: from Harvard to Australia, and in one field: scientific research. Awards will favor research that has the ultimate goal of commercializing Australian products and services for sale in the global market.

The application deadline is May 31. For complete fellowship and application information, visit http://www.harvard.org.au/HCA_Aust-HarvFellowship_Notice.pdf, or e-mail fellowship secretary John Turner at ahf@harvard.org.au.
