Golub awarded Freedom to Discover Grant
Associate Professor of Pediatrics Todd Golub recently received a $500,000 grant from the Freedom to Discover Program of Bristol-Myers Squibb. The award recognizes leading scientists and research institutes that pioneer in combating disease. Golub received the award as a member of the Broad Institute of M.I.T. and Harvard, where he directs the Cancer Program. In addition, Golub is a Charles A. Dana Investigator at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and an associate investigator for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
Golub will use the grant to further leverage the human genome toward better diagnostics and therapeutics for cancer.
