Closing the books on the 2002-03 academic year

As June 30 approaches, offices throughout the University will be closing the books – and the files – on the 2002-03 academic year. To help staff in charge of keeping the University’s files in order, the Records Management Office (RMO) is offering a new housecleaning presentation to provide guidance to office managers and other staff with the end-of-the year cleanup. The presentation will provide practical guidance on what to keep, what to store, what to shred, and what should go to the archives.

RMO’s new 45-minute presentation will be offered at four-week intervals scheduled between June 19 and Sept. 18. Each Thursday session will be held at noon in Pusey Library on the following dates: June 19, July 17, Aug. 14, and Sept. 18.

Participants are encouraged to bring brown-bag lunches. RMO will provide drinks and cookies.

Interested parties are advised to register. To do so, call the RMO at (617) 495-5961, or visit http://hul.harvard.edu/rmo/ and select “Presentations.”
