Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Jan. 11. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.
Jan. 5: Officers dispatched on a report of an open door at the Newell Boathouse. Building was checked and the door was secured. An unwanted guest at Winthrop House was sent on their way.
Jan. 6: Vandalism to two shuttle buses was reported at 175 N. Harvard St. Officers dispatched to Science Center Mall on a report of an unwanted guest. The party was escorted off the property and issued a trespass warning for all University property. A computer monitor was reported stolen from Pierce Hall. A laptop was reported stolen from Perkin Lab.
Jan. 7: Officer observed a motor vehicle accident on Cambridge Street. The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) was notified and took over scene. A report of harassing phone calls was filed at the Holyoke Center.
Jan. 8: Officer observed a motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue driving on its rims. CPD was notified and took over scene. Officer dispatched to Sanders Theatre on a report of a trespasser. The party was issued a trespass warning and escorted off the property. Officer assisted with a motor vehicle accident on Memorial Drive. Massachusetts State Police were notified and took over scene. Officer dispatched on a report of an individual taking photographs inside Lamont Library. The party was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. A wallet was reported stolen from Gutman Library. A report of unauthorized access of an e-mail account was filed at Morris Hall.
Jan. 9: An unwanted guest was escorted from the Holyoke Center. Money was reported stolen from Memorial Church. A wallet was reported stolen from Andover Library.
Jan. 10: A report of harassing calls was filed at Quincy House Dining Hall. Vandalism to the public restroom at the Holyoke Center Arcade was reported. A wallet was reported stolen at Larsen Hall. Officer was dispatched to Holyoke Center Arcade to assist a constable delivering a summons. A bicycle was reported stolen from Carpenter Center.
Jan. 11: Officers assisted another agency with a criminal investigation on Mt. Auburn Street. Money was reported stolen from Blodgett Pool.
