Shareholder Responsibility report is now available

The 2002 Annual Report of the Corporation Committee on Shareholder Responsibility (CCSR), a subcommittee of the president and fellows, is now available upon request from the Office for the Committees on Shareholder Responsibility. Please call (617) 495-0985 to request copies.

PBH kicks off gift drive

The Phillips Brooks House (PBH) launched its annual Holiday Gift Drive this week, with organizers hoping to bring in more than 1,000 gifts for children in Greater Boston. New and unwrapped books, games, art supplies, sports equipment, and toys are sought through Dec. 18. Gift givers may leave donations in special boxes located in the undergraduate houses, Phillips Brooks House, and locations throughout campus. Nominations sought for honorary degrees

The Advisory Committee on Honorary Degrees will be meeting during the fall and spring to consider nominees for honorary degrees to be awarded in 2004. Members of the Harvard community are invited to submit names of honorary degree candidates. Nominations may be sent to Conrad K. Harper, fellow of the Harvard Corporation and chair of the advisory committee, or Marc Goodheart, secretary to the corporation, at Loeb House, 17 Quincy St., Cambridge, MA 02138.

Received nominations will be considered for degrees to be awarded in June 2004 and afterward. Biographical material and comments in support of recommendations should accompany submissions.

Free flu shots

In an effort to combat the flu across campus this season, University Health Services (UHS) will be providing free flu vaccines to all members of the Harvard community. The walk-in clinics are being held at the following location:

Holyoke Center’s fourth-floor lab conference room: Every Tuesday and Thursday through Jan. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m.
