Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday (May 4). The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.
April 29: A set of keys was reported stolen at William James Hall. At the Pound Building, Environmental Health and Safety impounded a suspicious letter.
April 30: A laptop was reported stolen from Quincy House. A bicycle was reported stolen from the Harvard Institute of Medicine Building. A DVD player was reported stolen from Boylston Hall.
May 1: An MBTA pass and cash were reported stolen from Countway Library. A backpack was reported stolen from the Carpenter Center. A purse was reported stolen from the Pound Building. A bicycle was reported stolen from Child Hall.
May 2: A report of harassment was filed at 219 Western Ave.
May 3: A laptop was reported stolen from 40 Oxford St. A handbag was reported stolen from the Kennedy School.
Along with the Cambridge Fire Department, officers responded to a report of a fire alarm at Wolbach Hall. On arrival, a fire was discovered in the basement. Building was evacuated and fire was extinguished.
May 4: A handbag was reported stolen from the C2 Building at the Medical School. Photo albums were reported stolen from Peabody Terrace.
