Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday, Jan. 12. The official log is located at 29 Garden St.
Jan 6: Bicycles were reported stolen from Adams House and the Lyman Lab.
Jan 7: An unwanted guest at Hauser Hall was placed under arrest for trespassing and disorderly conduct. A bicycle was reported stolen from Peabody Terrace Garage. A laptop computer was reported stolen from McArthur Hall. Reports of past larcenies were filed at Malkin Athletic Center, Widener Library, and Holyoke Center.
Jan. 8: A past bicycle larceny was reported at Mather House. Stolen computers were reported at the Kennedy School and Gund Hall.
Jan. 9: At Holyoke Center, an individual was reported to have made a sexual remark to a child. A field interview conducted by an officer revealed that the subject had an active warrant. The subject was placed under arrest for default and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and was arraigned on the charge of lewd and lascivious behavior for the remarks made concerning the child.
Bicycle parts were reported stolen from Mather House. A wallet was reported stolen from Robinson Hall. A harassment report at Robinson Hall was filed.
Jan 10: A past larceny was reported at Lowell House. A bicycle was reported stolen from Harkness Commons. A wallet was reported stolen from Blodgett Pool.
Jan 11: An officer was dispatched to Hauser Hall to investigate a suspicious package. Harvard University Environmental Health and Safety impounded the package.
