Police reports
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Saturday, Oct. 13. The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
Oct. 7: A bicycle was reported stolen at Harkness Commons.
Oct. 8: A guard reported suspicious persons attempting to break into Mallinckrodt Lab. Officers were dispatched and stopped two individuals, checked them for warrants, and issued them trespass warnings.
A wallet was reported stolen at Countway Library.
Oct. 9: A wallet was reported stolen at Malkin Athletic Center.
Oct. 10: A wallet was reported stolen from Pound Hall. An individual was arrested for an outstanding warrant at the Science Center. A bicycle was reported stolen from Peabody Terrace.
An officer was dispatched to the Newell Boat House concerning a report of an individual trying to use stolen keys to break into a motor vehicle. Suspect was gone on arrival.
An officer was dispatched to take a report of an unknown person who had entered an unsecured office at Jefferson Lab and removed cash.
Oct. 11: Audiovisual equipment was reported stolen from building 4 of the Xavier Building at the School of Public Health.
A bicycle was reported stolen at Dudley House. Two laptops were reported stolen at North Hall.
Oct. 12: A subject was arrested for trespassing in Weld Hall.
An officer was dispatched to take a report regarding a suspicious letter received at the C1 building at Harvard Medical School.
An individual acting suspiciously was arrested for an active warrant at The Inn at Harvard.
Oct. 13: A bicycle was reported stolen at the Kennedy School.
