Bicycle bandits still at large

According to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD), a University student was the victim of assault and unarmed robbery on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 10 p.m. While walking down Holyoke Place in front of Lowell House, the student reported three individuals approached him on bicycles. One of the suspects kicked the student, knocking him to the ground. A second suspect then grabbed the student’s wallet from his back pocket. All three individuals were described as black males, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts. The suspects fled down Holyoke Place, down Winthrop Street to Kennedy Street. It is unknown which direction they turned on Kennedy Street.

HUPD conducted a thorough check of the area with negative results. Cambridge Police were notified and broadcast the incident and description to their units.Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the HUPD Criminal Investigation Unit at (617)495-1796.
