Police Log

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Sept. 23.The official log is located at Police Headquarters, 29 Garden St.Sept. 17: A caller reported a stolen set of keys and identification from Stoughton Hall. Sept. 18: Security reported two vending machines were broken into at Griswold Hall and Pound Hall. A caller reported unknown persons had broken into a third vending machine and removed the cash box at 51 Brattle St. A caller reported stolen library materials from Countway Library. A car was reported broken into at the Newell Boathouse Lot. Sept. 19: A caller reported a larceny from a motor vehicle at Shad Hall. A computer was reported stolen from the storage area at the Leverett House. A caller reported a stolen wallet from the Science Center. Sept. 20: Two bikes were reported stolen from Peabody Terrace and Emerson Hall. Sept 21: A caller reported stolen cash from the Loeb Drama Center. A caller reported vandalism to library books at Widener Library. A Palm Pilot was reported stolen from Stoughton Hall. Sept. 22: A bike was reported stolen from Andover Hall. Sept. 23: Two bikes were reported stolen from Gund Hall and the Currier House. A wallet was reported stolen at the Malkin Athletic Center.
