Temporary relocation at University Hall

In preparation for the upcoming renovations of University Hall, all departments in the building will be temporarily relocated. University Hall will close for business at the end of the day, Thursday, June 15. Offices will be relocated and will open for business on Monday, June 19, in the following temporary locations:

40 Oxford Street (Engineering Science Lab) – Fourth Floor: Dean of Harvard College, College Financial Office, College Life and Student Services, Parents Association, Student Activities Office, Undergraduate Housing Office, Visiting and Transfer Undergraduate Programs.

1033 Massachusetts Avenue – Second Floor: Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), Academic Affairs, FAS Administrative Computing, Communications, Secretary of the Faculty.

1033 Massachusetts Avenue – Third Floor: Dean of Administration, Financial Office, Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Undergraduate Education.

The departments will remain in these locations until Jan. 12, 2001, and will return to University Hall on Jan. 16. The telephone numbers and mailing addresses for the departments will remain as they are for the interim periods; however, packages not sent through

University Mail should be addressed to the temporary addresses.

Faculty meetings will take place in Lowell Lecture Hall.

Faculty Council meetings will take place in Barker Center, Room 133. University Hall is being renovated to update its antiquated heating,

electrical, and plumbing systems. Access for the disabled will also be provided after the renovations.
