With a Goal In Mind

Name tags might have been necessary the first few weeks, with all the young faces assembled on Harvard’s women’s lacrosse team. Of the 25 players on the roster this spring, only seven (five juniors and two seniors) have more than one season of varsity experience. And although a winning season is eluding them, the lacrosse team is putting a lot of fresh energy out onto the field.

Returning to the women’s team was Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection Hilary Walton ’02, giving the Crimson a strong foundation on which to build the young team.

The Harvard-Boston University lacrosse matchup brought the Crimson’s No. 15 Lizzy Frisbie ’02, Lauren Corkery ’01 (left), Jamie Hagerman ’03, Hilary Walton ’02, Becca Brown ’00, Katie Shaughnessy ’03, and Erin Kutner ’02 to the field.
