Police Log
Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the weeks ending March 25 and April 1. The official log is located at Police Department Headquarters, 29 Garden St.
March 19: A bag was stolen from Rosovsky Hall. A cell phone was taken from Currier House. An elevator in Gund Hall was briefly stuck with someone in it until the Cambridge Fire Department responded and let the person out. A tire was taken off a bicycle at Hurlbut Hall.
March 20: A wallet was taken from a bag in Gund Hall. Acts of vandalism were reported at University Health Services and at the Biology Labs. Personal items were taken from an unsecured locker in Building C2 in the Longwood Medical Area.
March 21: A coat and wallet were stolen from Sever Hall. A backpack was stolen at Au Bon Pain. A coat was stolen from the Science Center. A team jacket was stolen from the Science Center.
March 23: A car was scratched with a key on Walker Street. A pocketbook stolen in the Holyoke Arcade. A wallet was stolen from Hamilton Hall. A wallet and a backpack were stolen from Jefferson Lab. Graffiti was discovered in restrooms in Aldrich Hall.
March 24: Two people were arrested for breaking and entering in Haskins Hall. A backpack was taken from Ma Soba restaurant. A cassette player was stolen from Aldrich Hall. Various personal items were stolen from Sever Hall. Keys and an ID were taken from Shad Hall.
March 26: A bicycle was stolen from the Johnston Gate area.
March 27: A laptop computer was stolen from Longfellow Hall.
March 28: A bicycle was stolen from Fernald Drive.
March 29: A car parked in the Cowperthwaite lot was hit by another vehicle that then left the scene. A credit card processing machine was stolen from Pound Hall. An individual was taken into custody at Lowell House for trespassing and possession of marijuana.
March 30: Cash was stolen from a wallet in Building 3 in the School of Public Health. A bicycle was stolen from a railing at Vanderbilt Hall. A wallet was stolen outside the Fogg Museum. Computer components were stolen from HMS Building D1 in the Longwood Medical Area.
March 31: An unattended cell phone was stolen from the Cronkhite Graduate Center.
