Taiwanese filmmaker Tsai Ming-liang spends a solitary moment before the screening of his new film Goodbye Dragon Inn at the Harvard Film Archive on Tuesday (Oct. 19). Tsais recurring themes are the isolated nature of individual lives, the rituals that are essential for survival, and the restorative power of love.
