2 min read

In partnership with the Harvard University Office of the Executive Vice President, Harvard Campus Services, Harvard Planning Harvard, and the Zone 3 initiative, the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) is presenting a public exhibition of the five finalists in the GSD’s design-build competition currently underway, a project that calls for the planning, design, and execution of an installation in a newly expanded portion of the public open space known as The Grove, located at Barry’s Corner in Allston. This Friday, Feb. 17, the five finalist proposals will be on display at 267 Western Ave. in Allston, with a public reception from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Members of the finalist teams and other GSD representatives will be present at the reception to answer questions and hear your thoughts. Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will remain open over the weekend, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19.

Members of the community are invited to come view the design proposals, offer feedback, and vote for a winning proposal. The project that wins the collective community vote will receive a bonus jury vote in the final round of deliberations.

The winning project will be installed in time for summer 2017.
