Faculty Council meeting held Dec. 9

On Dec. 9 the members of the Faculty Council heard a proposal to create a joint program in jazz with the Berklee College of Music. They also voted to endorse the report of the Committee to Study the Importance of Student Body Diversity and heard a presentation on the arts and humanities framework courses.

The council next meets on Jan. 27. The preliminary deadline for the Feb. 2 meeting of the faculty is Jan. 19 at noon.
