Arnold Arboretum invites artists to submit shirt designs for Lilac Sunday

The Arnold Arboretum welcomes artists of all ages to design a piece of Arboretum history by submitting artwork to the Lilac Sunday 2010 T-shirt design contest.

The winner will receive a one-year membership with the Friends of the Arnold Arboretum and have their winning design on the event shirts.

Artists may submit up to three shirt designs, and the artwork will be judged by Arnold Arboretum staff based on how well the designs reflect the spirit, history, and beauty of Lilac Sunday at the Arnold Arboretum.

Each artist may submit up to three designs and must submit them in digital form to arbweb@arnarb.harvard.edu by Jan. 31, 2010. For more information on the competition, visit the Arnold Arboretum online.
