Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending May 19. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online athttp://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

May 15: An officer was dispatched to Eliot House to take a report of a stolen rug valued at $990. A bicycle was reported stolen from Quincy House. Harassing phone calls were reported received at 124 Mt. Auburn St. An iPhone and case were reported stolen from Aldrich Hall. At 817 Memorial Drive, officers observed an individual preparing a marijuana cigar. Officers approached the individual and observed marijuana in the individual’s hands. After conducting a field interview with negative results, one of the officers observed a bag containing more marijuana in the individual’s sweatshirt. Following a search, another cigar and a plastic bag containing marijuana were found. The individual was placed under arrest for possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute and for drug violation near a school/park.

May 16: At Everett Street and Massachusetts Avenue, an officer observed an individual waiting for a ride. After observing a vehicle pull up, the officer asked the driver of the vehicle if they were picking up the waiting individual. The driver, who refused to answer, then began to drive toward the officer. The officer repeatedly motioned for the individual to stop to which they refused. The individual eventually stopped their vehicle and the officer then placed the driver under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. Annoying phone calls were reported received at the Kresge Building. At 124 Mt. Auburn St., a hard drive and wireless modem, mouse, and keyboard were reported stolen. A wallet valued at $250 containing a license, ID card, credit cards, and $10 in cash was reported stolen from Gund Hall.

May 18: Officers were dispatched to a report that a toilet bowl had been placed near the John Harvard statue. No damage was reported to the statue. Officers notified University Operations Services. A picture frame was reported damaged at Adams House.

May 19: Graffiti was reported on the brick columns at Harvard Stadium. A bicycle was reported stolen at Leverett House. An unattended iPod was reported stolen from Mather House dining hall. An unattended iPhone was reported stolen from the Faculty Club.
