On Wednesday (May 21), a male undergraduate student reported that he was the victim of an assault and battery at approximately 8:55 a.m. The victim reported that while walking on Grant Street near Banks Street he was tackled from behind and physically assaulted by an unknown individual. The victim fought back and was able to flee the area. At no time during the assault did the suspect speak to the victim.

The victim described the offender as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, a large scar on his forehead, a light goatee, and wearing a blue puffy jacket with a fur-lined hood, light blue jeans, and black sneakers.
