Memorial Church holds annual charity auction to assist nonprofits

1 min read

The Memorial Church will hold its third annual charity auction to benefit the grants committee on April 17. The event will be held at the Sheraton Commander Hotel (across from the Cambridge Common) beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Included among the silent and live auction items are a dinner party hosted by the Rev. Professor Peter J. Gomes, tickets to sporting events, an intimate candlelit feast with live entertainment on the south porch of the Memorial Church, and gift certificates to area restaurants.

All proceeds will benefit local nonprofit groups.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served. Additionally, there will be bar specials and performances by some of Harvard’s top musicians.
