Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department for the week ending April 9. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

April 6: Graffiti was reported on an elevator door at the Holyoke Center. An unattended wallet was reported stolen from Gund Hall. A window was reported broken at the Spangler Center. Officers were dispatched to North Hall on a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. Officers arrived and spoke with the reporting individual who stated that they were having an argument with another individual that escalated. The reporting individual stated that the other individual pushed them several times and then grabbed them by the wrist. The reporting individual declined medical attention. The assaulting individual, who had been given a previous trespassing warning, was placed under arrest for trespassing and domestic assault.

April 7: An officer assisted the California State Police Department in taking a report of harassing e-mails. An unattended purse containing a wallet, iPod, ID card, cash, and cell phone was reported stolen from Rosovsky Hall. Officers were dispatched to 718 Huntington Ave. on a report of an argument involving several individuals. Officers arrived and observed two individuals sleeping inside the building who were identified by a third party as the individuals that were fighting earlier. While attempting to wake the individuals, the officers were approached by a fourth individual who stated that the two sleeping individuals worked for them. Officers attempted to obtain further information from this individual, who refused to provide information and left the area. Officers followed this individual, who was then obstructing traffic. After being asked for ID, the individual stated that they had ID but were not going to show it to the officers. The individual then placed a hand on the officer in an attempt to move the officer aside. The individual was instructed several times to remove their hands from their pockets but the individual refused to do so. After a short struggle, the individual was placed under arrest for assault and battery on a police officer and disturbing the peace.

April 8: An officer was dispatched to the Radcliffe Quad on a report of an assault. The reporting individual stated that while they were walking in the area, they stopped to speak with someone. The reporting individual stated that an unknown individual approached them and yelled a profanity. A brief struggle ensued and the reporting individual fell, injuring their shoulder. The assaulting individual then left the area. A wallet was reported stolen from Currier House.

April 9: Graffiti was reported on the building and exit ramp wall at the Holyoke Center.
