Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Feb. 12. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor, and is available online at http://www.hupd.harvard.edu/.

Feb. 8: At 3 Crawford St., an officer assisted an individual in obtaining a restraining order. Annoying phone calls were reported received at the Bureau of Study Council.

Feb. 9: An officer was dispatched to Dunster Street to take a report of an assault that had just occurred. The victim reported that while walking in the area an unknown individual crossed their path and started making hand gestures about the reporting individual being in their way. The victim reported that the unknown individual then punched the victim in the mouth before fleeing the area. Due to the injuries from the assault, the victim was transported to a medical facility. At the Holyoke Center, graffiti was reported on walls and light fixture covers. A laptop was reported stolen from the Science Center. A bicycle was reported stolen from 10 DeWolfe St. An officer was dispatched to the Dental School to take a report of fraud. A parking gate arm was reported damaged at 1 Western Ave. An annoying phone call was reported received at the News Office. A carrying case containing a laptop and wallet holding $200 was reported stolen from the New Research Building (NRB). The carrying case and wallet (minus the $200) were later located in a restroom.

Feb. 10: An officer was dispatched to Straus Hall to file a theft report. The reporting individual stated that while attending a function, their purse containing cash, a digital camera, a cell phone, a wallet, keys, and credit and ID cards was stolen. Two individuals later approached the officer separately and reported that some of their possessions had also been stolen. The officer conducted a search of the area and located some credit cards and keys in the bushes outside. Later that day, a fourth individual reported that a wool coat had been stolen from the same function. A threatening e-mail was reported received at Pennypacker Hall South.

Feb. 12: An individual was placed under arrest for trespassing at Dunster House. At 93 Banks St., a bag containing keys, an ID, and miscellaneous papers was reported stolen. A laptop was reported stolen from Canaday Hall.
