We welcome our neighbors and visitors from afar to stop by the Harvard University Events & Information Center, located in the Holyoke Center Arcade at 1350 Massachusetts Avenue in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge.
The Arcade has entrances on both Massachusetts Avenue and Mt. Auburn Street in Harvard Square. The Center's staff can answer questions and provide maps and illustrated booklets of the University for a minimal charge.
Walking tours
Free student-led historical walking tours of the Harvard campus will help you find fascinating exhibitions and programs, and show you a rich sampling of American history and architecture from the Colonial period to the present.
Call about the tour schedule: 617-495-1573. Reservations are required for tours of 20 or more people: Call or e-mail icenter@camail.harvard.edu. Wheelchairs are available with a week or more of advance notice.

Ordering Photos from The Harvard News Office
Stock Images of Harvard University
A large library of stock images of Harvard is available on line for use by members of the Harvard University community. Images are $35.00 dollars each for unlimited print and web use, and can be ordered by sending an email to photo_services@harvard.edu. You will receive an email with a link to our photo database on line, where you can search and preview photos.
Gazette Photos
If you are ordering an image you have seen in the Gazette, please include as much information about the photo you are requesting, including what Gazette issue you saw the photo, when it was published, and whom the photo features, as well as the photographer’s name.
Press and Media Outlets
Members of the press and other media outlets are asked to email requests for images to justin_ide@harvard.edu. Please include whom you represent, what images you are looking for, why the image is being requested, where it will be used, and your deadline.
Please note that photos are emailed only, are typically 200 dpi with 10 inches the longest dimension, and that we must first request permission to release a photo prior to sending it out, and therefore turn around time can vary depending on the subject.
