H1N1 Updates
As public health officials track the spread of “swine flu,” this page will serve as a portal for information about H1N1 Influenza A and Harvard University, with links to official public health sites and University Health Services, updated stories about H1N1-related activity and University announcements.
To prepare for this flu season, members of the Harvard community are strongly encouraged to register with MessageMe so that they can receive any fast-breaking news alerts, and to consider visiting UHS for a seasonal flu vaccine. The best way to protect yourself, health officials say, is to practice good hygiene: Wash your hands often with soap and water, cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze, and avoid close contact with people you know are sick. More health tips, as well as information about H1N1 symptoms and the flu vaccine can be found at the UHS website.
