Bombshells anonymous
'Girls on Film,' an exhibition by Julie Buck and Karin Segal at the Sert Gallery in the Carpenter Center, is a collection of found footage from the 1920s through the 1960s. All are glamorous images of film-studio workers or models who posed for what are known as color-timing control strips, an essential process that today is accomplished digitally.
