HLS chooses architect for northwest corner
Harvard Law School (HLS) recently announced the selection of Robert A.M. Stern Architects as the principal design firm to prepare a planning framework for the School's campus, and to provide the architectural design for the initial development of the School's northwest corner.
As a result of a feasibility study conducted in 2003, HLS is beginning a long-term development program that aims to dramatically improve the student experience and address the School's space needs in the coming decades. Initial development will include new student meeting spaces, classrooms, and faculty offices.
Robert A.M. Stern Architects is a 140-person firm of architects, planners, landscape architects, interior designers, and supporting staff. A fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Stern is currently dean of the Yale School of Architecture.
