Crimson Power Clinic to open to high schoolers

The Department of Athletics' strength and condition staff is offering a six-week clinic to male and female high school athletes beginning July 5. The Crimson Power Strength and Conditioning Summer Clinic will focus on proper Olympic lifting techniques, strength development, speed mechanics, pyometrics, and flexibility.

Shoemaker takes second at triathlon champs

Sophomore Jenna Shoemaker, a member of Harvard's club cycling team and varsity swimming and diving team, placed second among women (91st out of 535 athletes overall) at the Collegiate National Triathlon Championships April 24 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. Crossing the finish at 2:15.16, Shoemaker qualified to represent the United States at the World University Games, to be held this summer in Spain.
