American Academy appoints Mikkelsen
Lecturer on History and Literature Ann-Marie Mikkelsen has been named a member of this year's group of visiting scholars at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. An associate of the Humanities Center, Mikkelsen is studying the public role of America's 20th century poets.
SAME awards Harvard senior with scholarship
On behalf of the New York City chapter of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Harvard senior Christine Susan Mulvey has been awarded the 2003 Colonel and Mrs. S.S. Dennis III Scholarship in recognition of her hard work and dedication to research. At a ceremony today (Feb. 12), Venkatesh Narayanamurti, dean of the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences and dean of Physical Sciences at Harvard, will present Mulvey with a certificate of accomplishment and a scholarship check for $1,000.
