Rugby club seeks grad student-players
The Harvard Business School (HBS) Rugby Football Club seeks players from across Harvard's graduate schools for training, matches, tours, tournaments, and social events. Rugby players of all skill and commitment levels are invited.
Practices are held outside the Shad Fitness Center on the HBS campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays (times TBA). For more information, e-mail dmorris@mba2004.hbs.edu.
No. 3 Big Green hands hockey first loss
The Harvard women's hockey team suffered its first loss of the season - a 2-1 defeat at the hands of visiting Dartmouth this past Sunday (Jan. 11) - snapping a 23-game ECAC regular season unbeaten streak. The loss falls on the heels of the Crimson's successful road swing to the University of Minnesota, Duluth, where No. 2 Harvard earned a 2-2 tie and a 7-2 win against the No. 4 Bulldogs. The Crimson now stand at 13-1-1 overall.
Men's swimming tops Tar Heels, 157-143
A visiting Harvard men's swimming and diving team downed the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in the final race of this past Saturday's (Jan. 10) meet. The Crimson's 400 freestyle relay of David Cromwell '06, Kemi George '04, Andrew Krna '05, and Mark Knepley '06 won the relay in 3:02.26 to claim the meet victory, 157-143. With the win, Harvard improves to 4-0.
