Eaton memorial service set

A memorial service for Kennedy School faculty member Susan C. Eaton will be held Saturday (Jan. 10) at 10:30 a.m. at First Parish Church in Cambridge. Eaton died Dec. 30 from complications of leukemia. She was 46.

Eaton, an assistant professor of public policy, joined the Kennedy School faculty in 2000 after serving 12 years as a union negotiator, trainer, and manager. Kennedy School Dean Joseph S. Nye Jr. called Eaton a passionate and dedicated researcher, and said she will be missed by students, staff, and colleagues.

Eaton is survived by her husband Marshall Ganz, lecturer in public policy at the Kennedy School.
