Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) for the week ending Jan. 31. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Jan. 26: HUPD assisted Massachusetts State Police with a motor vehicle accident on Soldiers Field Road. Mail was reported stolen at 34 Irving St. Shoes were reported stolen from Peabody Terrace.

Jan. 27: Officer dispatched to take a report of vandalism at Currier House. Officers were dispatched to 72 Mt. Auburn St. on a report of an assault. The parties were gone on arrival. A laptop was reported stolen from 8 Story St. A wallet was reported stolen from Building 2 at the School of Public Health. Officer dispatched to Fay House to take a report of a stolen wallet. The wallet was recovered from a trashcan with only its money missing.

Jan. 28: An individual was arrested for trespassing at the Science Center. A credit card was reported stolen from the Greenhouse Café. A bicycle was reported stolen from 1033 Massachusetts Ave. A duffel bag was reported stolen from Mather House.

Jan. 30: Officers were dispatched to 7 Ware St. on a report of a person acting suspiciously. The party was issued a trespass warning and escorted from the property. A backpack was reported stolen from Sherman Hall. Detective arrested an individual for an outstanding warrant at Massachusetts General Hospital. Reports of a stolen purse and money were filed at Baker Library. Stolen money was reported at Sherman Hall. Officer assisted a party with a disabled motor vehicle. Officer assisted the Cambridge Police and Fire Departments with a motor vehicle accident on Storrow Drive.

Jan. 31: Officer dispatched to take a report of a hazardous condition regarding dumpsters at Apley Court lot.
