Police reports

Following are some of the incidents reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) through Jan. 3. The official log is located at 1033 Massachusetts Ave., sixth floor.

Dec. 11: A report of harassment was filed at Lamont Library. Stolen checks were reported at Sherman Hall.

Dec. 12: An assault was reported at 4 p.m. near the rear of Grays Hall.

Dec. 14: A bicycle was reported stolen from Leverett House Towers. Money was reported stolen from American Repertory Theatre.

Dec. 15: Officers dispatched to Widener Library on a report of suspicious activity. Officers determined that the parties were finals club pledges. Parties were sent on their way with a warning to cease and desist.

Dec. 16: A wallet was reported stolen from Sever Hall.

Dec. 17: A backpack was reported stolen from Currier House.

Dec. 18: A break-in to a vending machine was reported at Converse Lab. Laptops were reported stolen from the Biology Lab.

Dec. 20: A report of a harassing letter was filed at the Dillon Field House.

Dec. 21: A television was reported stolen from 11 Ware St.

Dec. 26: A parking permit was reported stolen at the Broadway Garage.

Dec. 28: At Johnston Gate, an officer observed a vehicle that was wanted by the Cambridge Police Department (CPD). Driver was placed under arrest by CPD for assault and battery. At Harkness Commons, an individual who had previously been issued a trespass warning for all University property was placed under arrest for trespassing.

Dec. 29: Money and a video camera were reported stolen from Lavietes Pavilion.

Dec. 30: A radio was reported stolen from 175 N. Harvard St. Money was reported stolen from the School of Public Health, Building 3.

Dec. 31: At HUPD headquarters, an officer took a report of a sexual assault. A break-in was reported at 8 Plympton St.

Jan. 1: Officers assisted Massachusetts State Police with an arrest on Western Avenue. Vandalism to doors was reported at Loker Commons. Officers dispatched to take a report of three broken windows at Mather House. An ID card was reported stolen at Leverett House.

Jan. 2: Cash and a necklace were reported stolen from Daniels Hall. A laptop was reported stolen from Aldrich Hall.

Jan. 3: A purse was reported stolen from Longwood Avenue.
