Bursztajn to lend expertise to Discovery

Harold J. Bursztajn, associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and co-director of the Program in Psychiatry and the Law at Massachusetts Mental Health Center, will provide the forensic psychiatric analysis for the Discovery Channel's two-hour documentary, "Who Killed King Tut?" The program airs Oct. 6.

A jazzy cause

"Celebrating Community Spirit," the fourth annual benefit concert for the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF), will be held Friday (Sept. 27) at 8 p.m. at Sanders Theatre. Grammy-nominee jazz singer Rebecca Parris will headline the show, accompanied by the 16-piece Kenny Hadley Big Band, and blues singer Paul Broadnax. Eric Jackson of WGBH will host the event.

In the previous three concerts, CHAF has raised more than $300,000 to assist more than 250 homeless and near-homeless families with the start-up costs of renting an apartment. This year, CHAF hopes to raise $120,000 to assist another 100 families.

Tickets for the concert are $23 and $28, and can be purchased by calling the Harvard Box Office at (617) 496-2222. For $75, jazz fans can attend a preconcert reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Harvard Faculty Club.
