Faculty Council Notice for Sept. 25
At its second meeting of the year, the Faculty Council met with William R. Fitzsimmons (dean of Admissions and Financial Aid) and Marilyn McGrath Lewis (director of Admissions) to discuss issues surrounding Early Action and Early Admissions.
The council also met Professor Christopher Winship (sociology) and Dean Judith Kidd (Phillips Brooks House) to discuss the Report of the Standing Committee on Public Service.
In addition the council heard a report from Dean Geoffrey Peters (Administrative Resources) on the experience thus far this year with the implementation of the new Human Resources Systems.
The council also considered a draft agenda for the Oct. 15 Faculty Meeting, the preliminary docket deadline for which is next Monday, Sept. 30, at 9:30 a.m.
