Pops rehearsals

From June 26 through July 31, musicians interested in playing with the Harvard Summer School Pops Band should bring their instrument and a music stand to Lowell Hall on Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m. The ensemble, now in its 30th season, is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians. No audition, registration fee, or Harvard affiliation is necessary. Call (617) 496-BAND for more information.

Chorus to hold auditions

The Harvard Summer School Chorus will hold open auditions for its 2002 season on June 20 (7-9:30 p.m.), June 23 (2-5 p.m.), and June 24 (2-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m.) in Lowell Hall. The chorus will perform Verdi’s “Requiem” on Aug. 2 in Sanders Theatre. Call (617) 495-0693 for more information.
