Learning in a new land
Luciano Famet, one of the "lost boys" from Sudan who is learning English as a second language in the Refugee Youth Enrichment Program at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., listens intently during class. The youths, now high school-aged, were part of a large itinerant group of boys who moved across Sudan for years seeking food and shelter.
