Fire of knowledge
His Grace Srila Turiya Das Acarya Mahasaya, a Hindu priest of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, presides over a Vedic fire ceremony held on the steps of the Memorial Church on April 19. The Boston Hindu community sponsored the performance of a yugna (Hindu fire ceremony) as a blesssing for the cities of Boston and Cambridge. His Grace performed the traditional Hindu fire ceremony as an invocation of peace, prosperity, and goodwill for the communities.
