Ramakrishnan, 64, senior associate at HIID

Subramaniam Ramakrishnan, senior associate at the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID), died Feb. 7.

Ramakrishnan's relationship with the University started in 1975, when he was awarded a fellowship at the Kennedy School. From 1982 to 1999, he worked as a senior associate at HIID. Ramakrishnan had directed and taught in HIID workshops for government officials from all over the world since 1990.
