The Harvard men's and women's track teams both defeated their Northeastern counterparts at the Gordon Track and Tennis Center Saturday. The women, led by Captain Brenda Taylor with wins in the 60 meter hurdles and 200 meters, beat the Huskies 95-30. Nicky Grant '02 broke her own school record in the 20-pound weight toss and Kart Sllats '04 won the highjump as the Harvard women won all but two events.

The men had a harder time, finally prevailing 75-70. Distance races carried the day for the Crimson, as they swept the 1000 meter run and won both the mile and two-mile relay, with Edward Baker '01 performing double duty to pull out the win.

Team captain Marna Schutte '01 (above left) leads the pack on her way to a win in the women's 400 meter run against Northeastern. She also placed 3rd in the 200.

John Pasquesi '04 (above, far right) leads teammate Paul McDonald in the junior varsity 500 meter run against Northeastern Sunday. McDonald edged out Pasquesi for second place. The men beat Northeastern 75-70.
