Historical group proves to be guiding light
With special temporary light fixtures illuminating its grand arched ceilings and stained-glass windows, Memorial Hall gleamed last Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, during a presentation honoring the Cambridge Historical Commission.

Rosie's appeals to Harvard for donations
Rosie's Place, the first drop-in emergency shelter for poor and homeless women, is funded entiredly by private donations, including those contributed through the Community Gifts Through Harvard Campaign 2000.
