HARVARD GAZETTE ARCHIVES Veterans Day Event, Celebration of Rev. Gomes' Work Slated
Two special events associated with the Memorial Church will take place next week. "The Commemoration of Benefactors and the War Dead" will be held Sunday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Church.Immediately following the service, "A Collation on the Delta" will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rev. Peter J. Gomes’ appointment as Pusey Minister and Plummer Professor. Remarks will be made by President Neil L. Rudenstine; Archie Epps, senior associate dean in the College; and Elliott Forbes, the Fanny Peabody Professor of Music Emeritus. The Morning Choir will perform. The events take place in front of the Science Center and start at 1 p.m.Parking will be available at the following locations: the Littauer Parking Lot, the Broadway Garage, and 38 Oxford Street Lot
