Faculty Council

The Faculty Council, at its third meeting of the year, discussed with Professor James E. Alt (Government) the new Center for Basic Research in Social Science, of which he is the Director.

The Council also heard a report from the Registrar, Arlene Becella, on the introduction of a new information system, HERS II, in that office. Mr. Kenneth Ledeen, who is overseeing these changes, participated in this presentation.

The Council next meets on October 21st. The final agenda deadline for the October 20th Faculty Meeting is Friday, October 9, at 5:00.
