HLS's Erin Glenn Earns Fay Diploma for Highest Average

Erin Glenn '98 is the recipient of the Fay Diploma for having the highest combined average for three years of study in residence at Harvard Law School. She is the second woman to earn this honor at the Law School. She received her degree during Commencement ceremonies last week.

Glenn has twice received the Sears Prize (1995 and 1996), which is awarded to the two students who achieve the highest averages in their first year of work at the Law School, and to the two students achieving the highest averages in their second year.

Glenn received her undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary. Her hometown is Bryn Athyn, Pa.

Following graduation, Glen will serve as a law clerk for Judge Michael Boudin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Lisa Anne Grow was the first woman to earn the Fay Diploma (1997) She is currently clerking with Judge J. Michael Luttig, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and will clerk this fall with Justice Anthony Kennedy, U.S. Supreme Court.
