  Athletic Department Offers Locker, Towel, Nautilus Services

The Department of Athletics' locker and towel services beginning Monday, Sept. 22.

Lockers

The locker fee for the 1997-98 academic year is $30. Cash or a check payable to Harvard University is acceptable. Lockers are available only to those with a valid Harvard I.D. and a participation sticker.

Reserved lockers for Malkin Athletic Center may be paid for at the Athletic Ticket Office in Harvard Hall beginning Monday, Sept. 22, 9 a.m. t0 5 p.m.

Reserved lockers at Blodgett Pool (men and women), Hemenway Gymnasium (men and women), and Gordon Track and Tennis Center (women only) may be purchased on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Briggs Athletic Center.

Transient lockers are available at all facilities at no charge; these lockers must be cleared out each night.

Towels

Towel service is available at Blodgett, Hemenway, Malkin, the University Squash Courts, and Weld Boathouse. The fee is $30 for the year and a Harvard I.D. must be presented. Towel stickers will be sold at all locker sale locations listed above.

Nautilus equipment is available at Malkin and Gordon. The use of the equipment requires certification by a Harvard instructor. Registration for the free certification classes is on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the front desk of the Malkin. For other dates of registration, call the Recreation Office at 495-4838.
